Tell us about your role

As the Head of Engineering, I lead the team of dedicated and capable folks who ensure ParaFlare’s systems are always up to the task of protecting our clients.

Why did you join the team?

Cyber security had become progressively more a primary focus in my previous roles, so when the opportunity was presented to help grow a capability and a team that aligned so well with my experience, it was an easy decision.

What do you enjoy about your work?

I enjoy the challenge of continually improving and the nature of technology means there is always something that is moving the game forward.

What do you do in your spare time?

I am a crazy cyclist, both road and mountain bikes, as well as a drummer/percussionist.

What’s one thing your work colleagues don’t know about you?

In my younger days I had hair down to the middle of my back when I was playing in bands five nights a week.

What gets you out of bed every day?

To always try and do better than before – if something can be done more efficiently, then I want to be across how to achieve that.
