Cybersecurity threat detection and management specialist ParaFlare is delighted to announce that it has achieved ISO 27001 certification for its suite of threat management and detection services.

The certification covers information security activities associated with ParaFlare’s suite of products and services. This includes its Managed Detection and Response (MDR) Platform, Cyber Operations (Defensive and Offensive) inclusive of Security Engineering, Security Information and Event Management, Endpoint Detection and Response, Deception capability, Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR), Research and Development, and Digital Forensics Incident Response Cloud Platform services.

ParaFlare CEO, Adam McCarthy, said the certification was not only an important step in elevating the perception of the company in the marketplace, but also testament to the high level of threat detection and management it provides its customers.

“The ISO 27001 certification provides our customers with confidence in the integrity and resiliency of the Managed Detection and Response platform and services we provide.

“This demonstrates ParaFlare’s MDR platform’s alignment to the recommendations provided by the NSW Cyber Security Standards Harmonisation Taskforce, ensuring common language in communicating our platform’s security processes, controls and procedures.”

ISO 27001 is an internationally-recognised Information Security Management System (ISMS) standard.

This ISMS standard, when implemented, is a strategic activity that preserves the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information by applying risk management processes to adequately manage threats.

ISO, the International Organisation for Standardisation, is the world’s largest developer of voluntary international standards. ISO international standards ensure that products are safe, reliable and of good quality.

With the ISO certification in place, recipients, such as ParaFlare, are demonstrating their commitment to a global practice and communicating to their suppliers, stakeholders, and customers that security is a paramount element for their business operations.
